As a multifaceted artist, I embody roles as a somatic coach, trainer, educator, actor, and content creator. My diverse background in physical expression and movement has taken me on a journey spanning various martial arts, performing arts, and healing modalities across countries such as China, Russia, France, the UK, and the United States. Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, I also hold certifications in Feldenkrais, Yoga instruction, and Systema (Russian Martial Art). I earned a Bachelor of Science in Somatic Education and Performance from the City University of New York, undergoing rigorous training in theatre, dance, and psychology.
As a performer, teacher, and healer, I am committed to exploring, teaching, researching, and documenting human movement as art, science, and intangible world heritage. My dedication revolves around reinstating movement as the foundation of education, language acquisition, and communication.
Working with diverse populations, from emergency response units and professional performers to individuals with disabilities or developmental delays, I underscore the inquiry of movement in a sophisticated and consistent manner. My overarching message advocates for recognizing the inseparable connection between the body and mind, emphasizing movement as the cornerstone of education present in every aspect of our lives.
I firmly believe that movement, often overlooked in conventional education, is a universal language shaping our consciousness. I urge the reclamation of movement as an empowering skill, a form of creative expression, and a manifestation of intelligence. Supported by scientific evidence, I emphasize that brain and body development is a lifelong process, and movement is the key to neuroplasticity and overall health—an innate gift that should be reclaimed and celebrated by all.
